The Mormons’ International Genealogical Index (IGI) is a database with millions of birth, marriage and (substantially less) burial records. The Mormon Church lets members baptise ancestors into the faith, and so over time it has grown to have this huge number of records. It also contains records from parish registers and other resources and covers many countries.
